Sauron's are creatures native to South America's thick jungles. They are mammals most closely related physically to felines, but were selectively bred over thousands of years by the native peoples to be hunters, skilled in the tricky rainforest terrain. They are omnivores, though prefer meat, around the size of a gazelle. Their long legs allow long leaps over the forest undergrowth,and their short-almost nonexistant fur is slick and waterproof to ward off the humid atmosphere. They were recently brought from the jungle and reintroduced to civilization. They are highly intelligent and quite friendly as long as they aren't hungry- so it was natural that they adapted well to other species and groups.

Story

Wind swept through the plains causing the grass to break out in a smooth and peaceful dance that flowed with the bird song above. Ark walked quietly through the tall vegetation, her eyes locked ahead of her as she glided onward. As she passed, the world seemed to gain an ominous hush as every creature paused to gaze at her in curiosity. Ark was known to many as the guardian or keeper of the wild due to her actions when it came down to protecting it. It was rare to see her as she was often quite elusive, though on this day she did not seem to care.
Ark paused and looked over her shoulder as a twig snapped below her. She gazed curiously at the young fox that stood frozen in fear and awe as it gazed up at her. Slowly, Ark smiled and turned to face it to avoid scaring the creature. "Hello little one, are you lost?" The fox's fur slowly lowered and its muscles visibly relaxed as it gazed into the Sauron's beautiful eyes. Hesitantly, a small nod bobbed its head and made its ears wobble about. Ark smiled at the young creature and bent down toward it. "Let's help you find your mother, okay young one?" She gently picked up the young fox by the scruff and looked around, sniffing the air as she did so. It didn't take long for her to pick up the scent of a female fox and she jogged toward it, keeping her head level to avoid causing the fox kit to bob in her mouth.
As Ark neared the scent of the female fox, she slowed cautiously. Human objects were now hanging from trees, an assortment of glass bottles and mirror pieces tied to their branches with twine. She was uncertain of what she would find, but motivated to not worry the fox kit or quit a mission, she carried on.
The further she went, the more human objects began to show. Old, torn tents, kettles that once bore water, a smothered fireplace, an old rifle that stunk of gun powder. Ark was alert and cautious, the small tuft of fur on her back raised slightly as she jogged on. She kept her eyes moving, constantly switching from the ground to the trees every second to avoid being surprised. She jogged deeper into the human camp, following the scent of the female fox as she did. She froze when a pot clattered to the ground and skid slightly. She stared at the object suspiciously before slowly approaching it. The pan jerked on occasions but froze when she was less than a foot away. Cautiously, Ark nudged the pan and flipped it over with her forepaw, revealing a tawny-red she-fox beneath. Immediantly, the fox kit in her mouth squirmed and wiggled free before pressing its small head against its mothers soft chest. The mother nuzzles her child and licked its fur a few times before turning her dark eyes to Ark and blinking slowly in gratitude. Ark smiled and returned the gesture before turning away and padding along back the way she come, a sense of accomplishment ringing in her heart.

Relationships

Ark and Xuikcho
Ark and Xuikcho get along from time to
time, though the two are mostly different
in personality and mindset. Ark sees Xuikcho
as a reckless Viscet who doesn't want to grow
up, and Xuikcho sees Ark as a powerful Sauron
who doesn't see the joys in life. Still, the two
are capable of coming to terms with eachother
and getting along.

Ark and Kishi
Ark and Kishi aren't close at all and often
struggle to agree at times. Ark finds Kishi's
secrets and constant absences suspicious
and annoying and Kishi sees Ark as overbearing
and strict. The only time these two get along
is when Xuikcho is there to be the mediator.

Ark and Kouna
Ark and Kouna are a different story. Kouna was
Ark's first friend and has supported her through
thick and thin. While the two may not agree on
everything, they see past their differences and
look only at the good in eachother. Ark enjoys to
be around Kouna in free time and often seeks her
to simply chat and catch up on life.
Note: I do not know who designed Kouna or drew her

Ark and Rune
Ark's first encounter with Rune was a startling one
to say the least. The raptor hybrid had leapt upon
the unsuspecting Sauron and attempted to "eat" her
twisted horns. Ark freaked out and threw her before
scolding the hybrid, who simply panted happily in
return. After some tension, the two became good
friends and Ark enjoys Rune's playful company.

Ark and Ace
Ark and Ace got along right off the bat. The two
met when Ace was traveling about to deliver mail
and ran into the Sauron. Due to Ace's open and polite
personality, the two got along quickly and soon became
close friends. While Ark is unable to see Ace often, she
enjoys the moments that they are able to meet.
