basically spirits of dead warriors/mages reincarnated into a canine-like body
if mage, glowiness on arms
if warrior, blades
gems are to keep body together, if pulled off (very hard to do, but possible) they glitch out and if all are pulled out they disintergrate completely. some survive this and are constantly glitching out and in a kind of living limbo???
they have 4 ears and a unique rune that floats above their head. rune colour matches eyes and gems. rune shape matches pupil shape.
