The reason the example has no line over his head is because you're character might have hair on it's head!
The Dots:
The lime dot means it is a Fursona turned into a bush baby* Package A
The yellow dot means it is a completely random character for the adopter* Package B
The orange dot means it is a new fursona/mascot based on information you give me* Package C
The ultra-violet dot means it is a festival/event pet for all to adopt
The glittery gold or silver dot means it is a birthday gift (PM me if you want one for you or you're friend)
The bubble means it is a free pet for all to adopt
