here are some tips from the drawing and not on the drawing:

do a lines and color layer, it makes it a bit more easier to do color first and then add lines

draw back legs before the tail, that way its a bit easier

if your doing a cat do the ears up

make the lines brush size 4 and smoothing size 55

don't be afraid to add some detail, try to add inside of the ears and eye brighting

try to do circles for the inside of eyes
