"The blanket was royal purple, by far my favorite color, and when I rubbed my nose against it - oh, how it felt! So soft, like velvet, like satin, so smooth and flowing and lovely. My eyes took in every last golden stitch of embroidery, on the edges, around the collar, lacing up together to form a small golden crown on the flank. It was so beautiful, so wonderful, so me. Even the smell - just like vanilla. It smelled of that lovely flavor of vanilla, and I could imagine that, if this blanket could be eaten, it would be the best of delicacies."
