Info about this wolf
Owner: Gowlerwolf
Adopted: 1st January 2016
Name: Pine
Gender: Female
Age: 4yo
Personality: Pine is a curious and territorial female, who will not back down from a fight. She dislikes tension - but will fight for what she loves, and will stand by everything he lives for to make sure it stays secure and safe. Though not the best in the head - Pine rather's to continue on than to live in the past. She believes in magic and miracles, and hopes to one day reunite with her parents, whom she has only seen once - when she was a newborn pup, and those memories are dim. But ever since she knew that her parents had died, she has given up on that hope. She rarely lets anything get in her way, and is a force to be reckoned with, but those few rare times she does - her emotions can spike, and the Pine you saw seconds ago could be very different to the Pine you see now. She fears the complete darkness, it makes her feel alone and disconnected to the world, and thrives in the daylight where everything looks what it seems. A natural born leader, Pine is a friend for life if you’ve got her back. She has no time for fools or backstabbers - and if you are either of those things you’d better watch your tail.

Write a story about this wolf. Min. 300 words. Max. 700 words. : Pine is a lone wolf. She was lonely because she hadn't talked to anyone. Ever since the day her parents left her. All alone. In the wild, wild forest of the pine trees. Not since her guardian, an old hedgehog, passed away. Not ever. Not even a second. She spent her lonely days, wandering around in circles, not knowing what to do. It wasn't that she minded in any way. She thought that she was meant to be solitary. Away from trouble. Away from the dangerous world. As she looked at the round moon in the starless night, she howled. She howled and howled. Somehow longing that her parents will hear her and sent someone down, for her. To keep her company, to stop her from being lonely. As she howled, her ears perked up. Someone was returning her lonely howls. Someone who sounded equally as lonely as her. Pine narrowed her eyes, focusing on the distant howls. Perhaps, she thought, it is just my ears and my mind. They are tricking me. I have not even heard of a wolf in this area. It is not possible. This made Pine concentrate even more on what she was hearing. Indeed, it was not the problem with her ears. Someone WAS returning the howls, someone. Someone. Pine listened and thought for a few more minutes as she watched the moon and the hills. A shadow appeared on the hills. A silhouette of a wolf. A big one. But still... it was a wolf. She smiled to herself and stared at the silhouette. She sniffed the air. Sniffing it, she smelled a faint, musky scent of wolf in the air. Yes! It's true! Pine thought. The big silhouette started to run. It ran. Laughing for the first time since the old hedgehog passed away, Pine raced after the silhouette. She followed the scent and continued running. Pine ran like the wind. Through the Pine and Birch forests, through the poppy meadows. Through the small, winding streams. As she caught up with the wolf, she smiled at him, and he smiled back, nudging her with one shoulder. He started running again, and Pine followed him. Running... Running... Running...Running is the moonlight... Running...
