Vleovons (VLEE-oh-vawns (no reference to anything existing intended)) are a species of wingless dragon who are related to canines and (distantly) birds of paradise. Their most notable features are their four dragon-like eyes, large legs and paws, and long antennae that sprout from the sides of their heads near their ears. Their antennae can sense when another creature is nearby and tell the Vleovon to prepare, which makes up for their eyesight and hearing that are slightly worse than an average canine's. Vleovons are a bit bigger than wolves, and have thick fur and strong legs and paws to help them run and dig faster as well as make them stronger in combat; due to this, they are very fast runners, and can run up to 45-50 miles per hour. Their lower jaw is quite thin and blends in with their upper jaw and snout, making it appear as if they have no lower jaw. They have thick snouts that end with a small point and a reptile nose. Vleovons can live to be around 40 years old, about five times the years an average wolf can live.

where do they live?
Vleovons can live anywhere they can adapt to, from the hot deserts to the freezing tundras; once they choose a habitat, they will stay there for their lives. Where they live also effects their natural fur colors. For example:
If they live in the desert, their fur will usually have sandy colors.
If they live in the tundra, their fur will usually have white, light grey, or even blueish colors.
If they live in dark places like caves, their fur will usually have dark colors.
If they live in forests, jungles, or rain forests, there won't be as much of a fur color difference from what they were given from their parents, other than their fur being a little more bright or dull based on the type of forest.
Usually, Vleovons are born with the colors from their parents, and within a month their habitat-based fur colors will start to appear. Their fur colors from what they were born with don't change completely, only about 25-30% of their fur color changes from when they are born to when their habitat-based fur colors have fully appeared.
