History~
To the far north of Canada there is a place almost untouched by mankind that place is called “Ellesmere Island” on this cold unforgiving land theres lives a strange breed of creature. this creature is called the Eastern Mountain Clydeer; (EMC or Clydeer for short). Clydeer have roamed the mountains and valleys of Ellesmere Island for many decades and have only recently been discovered. Clydeer are in fact related to the modern horse though it seems when they hit the Pliohippus stage the Clydeer for some reason adapted differently and became their own species.

Duchess is still young but when she grows older her stubbornness will break free. She is headstrong and has a can-do attitude. Well that attitude only lasts when she is enjoying something. Never get on this mare's bad side. If you do, head for the trees. Duchess is speedy and agile in the fields but very clumsy and slow in the forest. The Duchess has a heart of gold that is very hard to break into. Once you have she is a sweetheart. She would be loyal, caring and protective over the one she loves. Duchess likes to flirt with the young stallions/yearlings who she knows to have no chance of being with her. The Duchess doesn't like it when a new mare barges into the herd. The duchess needs to know where is everyone when they are away from the herd. It's her job!

She is not exactly very brave either and can sometimes be cowering towards others with great power, but that doesn't mean she won't fight back with a sting. She is the focused type, very aware of what is around her and her own surroundings as well, not easily sidetracked or distracted either. She loves change, and accepts it quiet nicely as well. So she does have her flaws, but in all she truly is a wonderful and fine mare at that.
