History or Back Story: For many years, Santana had no idea what she was. She never really knew what the word "gender" itself meant to her. After a long time of struggles, anxiety, depression, stress, grief, she started to figure something out. She was different from her friends, and she couldn't see genders. No matter how hard she tried, everyone was the same to her. Everywhere she looked, she couldn't figure out anything. Everything was a blur, and everything was hard for little Santana. She was afraid to tell people, because she was afraid of what they would think. She knows many people who would be against it; because of their religion. She works hard to keep it a secret, although for a few years, when she was growing, (10-15) she started developing feelings for a girl instead of a boy. While all of her friends would talk about the guys they'd met or thought was cute, Santana had troubles and constantly had to make up someone. She didn't want anyone to know. After a while, she started to build a friendship with this girl she liked. She learned more about her, and her name was Caroline. Santana and Caroline bonded closely, step by step. Eventually, they found out something about eachother. They've both been struggling with the same problem, Pansexuality. They can't tell anyone, and they soon develop into a very strong, well-built relationship. They love each other dearly, still today. Eventually, they had to come out. It turns out their family supported them, and helped them through everything. A few people hated on them, called them mean names, did mean things to them, or sometimes even hurt them. When it got that bad, the other in the relationship would always be there for them. They would do almost anything, run out of class, run out of anywhere, and save them. They're always there for eachother, and always will be. Everyone admires them, and their pride of relationship. Whenever someone asks Santana and Caroline what it's like to deal with others, they simply reply: "True love causes suffering and pain. If it's true, you'll push through it, no matter what." Everyone knows they'll most likely stay together for the rest of their lives, the relationship was built heavy, and they've never shown interest in anyone else.
