The commander of light and dark. Deception and shadows.
She is one who's very presence brings mystery and intrigue.
Element is Light and Teleportation
Has a curious ability to "float" where she just seems to glide and her feet hardly ever touch the ground ouo
Aylin is hard to be around, she is desperate for relationships but fails to make them work. Her inability to hear- from being deaf at birth - makes it difficult to understand others around her. Her communication comes through physical contact and reading lips. She herself can speak, but it often sounds slurred and inaudible.
As a tracker, it makes her job difficult. She often feels useless and constantly trying to over compensate for her lack of hearing. She in turn hones in on her sense of smell and eye sight to lead her way and improves those constantly just so she can just keep up.
Her family, lived in the ravine that ran along Ethereal's boarders. Her parents, abandoned her when they discovered she was deaf and found her to be useless. The cub however, was quickly picked up by a scout who spotted the little child wandering alone. She was brought before the council, and allowed refuge here....but she never quite felt like she fit in.
Most of the others her age believed her to be weird and rather stuck up. She never listened to them....but they had no idea her struggle both physically and mentally. All she wanted was to belong, to have somewhere to belong, but the pride never seemed to give her that.
She struggled heavily with her duties as a tracker. Sure her nose was strong...but her ears were useless. Her reaction time was poor, and being ambushed was a big worry for her and the tracking team. She often followed after the group, head low, eyes locked on the ground hoping for the trip to be quick and painless. Amongst her peers she was a joke, and Aylin felt paralyzingly alone. Her true purpose and value did not come until she met Ecko, the male with a beautiful voice and powerful spirit. He was able to communicate with her through his element of sound. Through his higher pitched vibrations, Aylin could hear and understand him. The pair immediately melded together into an incredible friendship and finally mates.
Even a Killer can wear a mask to hide their identity....but deep down they are still nothing more then just that. A killer.
My name is Sybel, but you can call my Sy...
in all honesty it makes no difference.
Just like the sun and the moon...The moon can always disguise itself in darkness but that does not mean the moon is not there....that it's darkened heart isn't still on display...even for the eyes of the sun. And for the sun who burns too bright to witness, it may mask it's full fury with gentle rays...but does that make the sun any less of a monster and destroyer of life?
For me, my body is but a mask to what I really am...who I really am. Every stripe of Red and White merely a cover for the
darkness that lurks there. Before the others I am but a cub...helpless and frail. But inside I know what I really am, what I really want and what I would give anything for: Revenge.
My fellow lions to emerge from the lake have lost their purpose...their fire. They mask their past lives in trickery and deceit. Abandoned the hurt and the pain in the abyss from which we were plunged. But not I. The moment my body took breath that day rang in my ears and played out in a tragic display before my very eyes. And though the lions before me we generations beyond my time, they were all still the same monsters in disguise.
