its good for beginner, you are good, unlike me i'm horrible but, I can do traditional, if you were to do this the same way in traditional, I would say try not to slant the back much, unless its getting ready to jump and stuff. Also, you might want to check on how skinny you make them, it may look like they are starving or something and be mis-read. The legs are also pretty skinny, but you will improve. The bump you made while making the neck into the front legs is a little big. And the last thing are the legs, you can always do that but, if you are to get familiar with the species, you might want to make the paws as well.

Yup, you have great potential, and if you keep trying new techniques, you can improve! Also, try out a hard task, like making you lines straight, then work your way up harder once you get that.
Sorry if this wasn't what you meant, I get carried away when I go deep into the criticism of art. Great for a first try!
Oh, and when you connect the neck to the head, you might want to try erasing the extra parts (like when you make the head, erase the bottom of the circle that merges into the neck) same goes for the flank and tail, too.
