I started thinking of Aphelion machine concepts and decided to draw this thing. For some reason it turned out on the computer a lot better than it did on paper.
The Reaper is a Hex-monitored, Angelic ship of slaughter. From that red orb on its underside, it produces a massive level of energy condensed into a single ray of plasma, that creates an explosion akin to an atomic bomb. The ship's specialized tech makes it immune to the same heat that will raze anything on the ground to ashes for miles, quite literally tearing the earth to shreds.
With this machine, the Angels could crush all rebellious opposition in a day, but they did not want to hurt their mortal counterparts in such a way, nor leave such brutal scars in the face of the planet they governed. It was only used in incredibly necessary circumstances to eliminate severe threats and keep Rebels in check.
