The land seals/sealdogs were originally large packs of stray Greek dogs the government wasn't sure what to do about, until locals brought their attention toward just how nurturing and intelligent the undomesticated dogs were. Many sealdogs still work determinedly with their handlers to locate unchipped pods, but they can also be found lounging in forever homes and doing other services. They're on average 15inches tall and 50 pounds.
