I had an idea for a new species- Axolotdogs! A mix between an axolotl and a regular dog! They have a regular canine anatomy, but they have a tail and fluffy gills like an axolotl. They are also known to have thick fur to keep themselves warm in colder temperatures and webbed paws for swimming. They live in fresh water and feast off of shellfish and sometimes algae. They lay eggs, but only 1-2 at a time.

Sorry for the poorly drawn gills on the right side-I got really lazy.
