Why: Topper is well trained in team driving and surprisingly western pleasure. He pulls decently with other horses and works hard but he excels at one thing. He can spin like a top, he'll spin until dizzy and sometimes ends up sitting in the dirt from the speed or from the length of the spin. No matter how many times Topper spins himself down into the dirt he'll happily get up and do it again.
He doesn't even need to have a rider to do his spins and has been seen spinning out in his pasture just for the fun of it. He used to go by Jack but he stopped coming to it when people started calling him 'Topper'

Weird Nickname: Bubbles
Why: Believe it or not, it's not because his overo pattern resembles bubbles, though the coincidence is funny. He earned the nickname "Bubbles" when a little girl was playing with bubbles near his pasture. Some of the bubbles drifted into the paddock, and Bubbles, upon noticing them for the first time, totally freaked out. He was terrified of the floating orbs, bucking and bolting and completely losing it. This went on for a good eight or nine minutes, before he finally realized they were no threat to him and he calmed down. He then proceeded to further examine these strange shiny spheres, and found that popping them was a delightful trick. He'd chase them down and reach out his nose to touch them, and then they'd pop and tickle his nose, whereupon he'd suddenly draw his head back and snort and shake his head. Ever since then, his favorite thing to do has been to play with bubbles, and even since then, he has gone by the nickname of "Bubbles."
