Cave Monster Fennec's are fox-like creatures that have evolved specifically to live in caves, with three large eyes able to pick up on the faintest traces of light, and big ears that allow them to use echolocation. Their tails serve a dual purpose, used to frighten away predators as well as aid in hunting. They can have from one to three tails, one being the most common, two being slightly uncommon, and three incredibly rare. The "eyes" on their tails don't really see, but they are heat sensitive. Their "teeth" are a lot more like fingers, able to grasp and hold objects. The fennec's primary prey are bats, so the adaptations come in very handy when they need the extra reach to pluck food from the ceiling.

They are extremely curious and do a great deal of exploring. They're also quite fond of shiny or especially colorful objects, which many of them collect and stash around their dens. Most fennecs have more than one treasure hoard, sometimes so many in fact that they forget where they are. If you plan to adopt one of these creatures, I suggest you keep your valuables hidden and locked up at all times, or else they may end up buried under a stalagmite and never seen again.

• Fennecs usually have natural coat colors.

• One tail is common, (60%) two tails is less common, (35%) and three is incredibly rare. (5%)

• Extra or fewer eyes is possible but very unlikely.

• There is no limit to how many you can own.

• Breeding is not currently available, but may be in future.

• Customs are auctioned or raffled only. (Except when given to staff.)

• Trading fennecs is allowed. Selling for profit or trading for other adoptables is not.

Guest Artist Rules

• You cannot become a Permanent Artist until you've been a Guest Artist.
• Guest Artists can make three adoptables. (No customs)
• Only one of your three designs may have line edits.
• At least one of your designs must be free to adopt.
• Auctions have no auto, Instant Sales are FCFS.
• Auctions cannot last more than one week.
• Instant Sale designs with edits should not cost more than a recent store pet.
• Instant Sale designs without edits should not cost more than a rare.
• Instant Sale designs for quantity are limited to either 20 omgsc's, 15 vc's, 10 c's, or 5 uc's.



GA Design Rules

• Designs must have natural colored bases.
• Unnatural colors are allowed in moderation.
• No neons, No rainbows.
• Minor line edits only.
• You cannot make designs with three tails. (There should only be 1 in 20 and we won't hit 20 for a while.)
• Small accessories are allowed; such as bracelets, necklaces, earrings, bandannas, etc.
• Please remove the "For adoption/sale/auction" sign when the pet is adopted.
