A full grown lab vs a Hybrid pup.

Adult Hybrids can grow to be anywhere between a foot taller (minimum) and twice the size (maximum) of what they were as pups.

Ya know, I think I'll call the Hybrids : "Hyperion Hounds"
Hyperion was a Titan - the "High-One" - so I think it would be fitting.
Plus the Nova Terrans like Mythology references, so it would be an acceptable name in their culture.
