What is a Makoatl?
A Makoatl is a terrestrial shark-dragon hybrid recently discovered
off the coast of the Greenland sea. They have the powerful tail
and jaws of a shark, with the body and (occasional) horns of a dragon.
They usually have manes, and are covered in thick coats of fur-
adapted to keeping out the cold in their native habitat.
They live on a diet of mainly meat and fish, and are known to be vicious
hunters! Despite this attitude toward their prey, however, they
are very protective and mothering to their offspring,
as well as to each other the majority of the time.

Kolarin hunts for buried treasure! Well, at least, that's what he pretends to do - what he actually
hunts for is debatable at best. Sometimes he'll be collecting seashells, sometimes he'll bring a
metal detector looking for who-knows-what, and sometimes (most of the time) he'll just come
back empty-handed. Most of the time, he looks for pearls, although he finds all sorts of things -
one time, he found a small dragon sculpture made out of tin holding a small glass marble. In fact,
most of the stuff in Kolarin's room is from his travels at the beach! Nobody knows how he does it,
although he may be aided by knowing the area quite well, as he lives near the area. Some things
he has come back with include beads, shark teeth, feathers, and a collection of odd gemstones
that look strikingly similar to opal.

P E R S O N A L I T Y :

Kolarin doesn't take much seriously, but the few things he does take seriously, he takes very
seriously. He's the type of person that you can't ask him to be motivated to do something - if he
is, he is, if he isn't, he isn't, and that's not going to change no matter what you offer. He tries -
and wants - to make friends, but unfortunately, he isn't all that great at conversing with others.
Kolarin is an ambivert - he enjoys talking to people, but a whole day of interacting can leave him
mentally (and sometimes physically) exhausted. He is very creative, and prefers to think of new
ways to problem-solve instead of constantly doing the same thing over and over again. He is rather
jumpy and easily frightened. However, if you scare him, prepare for his revenge - he will find a
way to scare you. Kolarin is a jokester and a prankster, often making bad puns at the worst time,
completely destroying any semblance of mood there was.

What does this mako like to hunt for on the beach?: Arlene is constantly scouring the beach for fulgurite, otherwise known as petrified lightning. The day after a large lightning storm is when she begins her search. She often finds two to three pieces every time. She sometimes takes some and makes them into jewelry if they are small. She keeps the larger ones in a glass case so that she, and any guests at her home, can admire them. She enjoys this small hobby and loves the collection she has gathered so far.

Extra: Personality-- Arlene is very down to earth makoatl. She is very rarely angered and doesn't become annoyed by anyone. Though her expressions are normally flat and sometimes off putting, Arlene is kind to all and accepts everyone no matter what their beliefs, preferences, principals, et cetera are.

Hope this is okay? I am kinda bad at explaining a characters attitude or personality. I'm better if i make it into a story but i didn't have the time to make a complete story to show off the personality i imagine her having.

isla hunts shark teeth. she finds it interesting how sharks have so many teeth.
she is glad that she doesn't have to go through losing as much as her distant
relatives. when she was young, her best friend was killed by a grey reef shark.
it ruined isla's life. where isla lives now, there is a small jar filled with seven
shark teeth. it may not seem like much, but they remind her of how powerful
she can be and how she should take no life for granted.

What does this mako like to hunt for on the beach?:

Seashells. Clorica loves finding them and then putting them on display in her home. Her favorite shells are those of cone snails, a preference that has caused her to put her life on the line more than once. Why? Cone snails have beautiful shells of white with brown and cream dapples, but cone snails are also highly venomous and Clorica often picks up the shells without checking to see whether or not there's still a snail inside. She's been stung several times and now takes to constantly carrying around a laminated step-by-step treatment method in case she faints and someone else finds her as well as a phone with the ER on hotkey.

Julius likes to hunt little tiny crabs along the sea shore, mostly because they are her favourite animal! Crabs are usually fun to chase, catch, hold, and release! Julius has always admired little crabs, but she doesn't know why.
