Just a sketch of one of my fursonas

I was just curious, I want to drawa pokemon, and place it in intermediate, even a animal, but I have been told I am not ready because of how I draw the back legs on animals. Although you don't see legs in this pic, I am going to sketch another animal, full body, and ask your opinion based on shape.

And if I draw a pokemon, which one? Just leave a comment on a choice, or even some advice.
