Gender; She doesn't mind for gender much, but if you ask her she'll usually just say she's a girl, though she will occasionally walk around as a guy and almost even become gender-fluid at some points. Magigirl would probably be the best way to describe it- someone who identifies as partially female (but not quite as much as a demigirl) and the rest of an unknown gender.
personality; Melko, like Cheops, wants to see the world. However, being young as she is now, she can't do it quite yet. Nevertheless, she doesn't give up She knows her dad, Cheops, would allow it when she grew, so for now she was happy with the outstretches of their kingdom. Melko's made some good friends here, and she finds it sad to leave them behind when she goes out to travel, but they know it's her dream and, as good friends, said that she could go and they would always wait for her there. Who knows? They might just meet again somewhere outside of her father's current confinements. Melko is also a freak for romance. Most might call her a hopeless romantic. She loves reading stories that end with a happy couple, and will spend hours talking about the special one that may one day come. Of course, she usually does this when she's alone or with someone she's very close to, but it's still a great part of her personality.
relationship with her fathers; With Tius being naturally protective of his little magigirl daughter, Melko prefers not to worry him by running off and staying where he'd like her to. After all, she knows Tius was a guard of the former prince, so if he said something was dangerous, it probably was. Melko had never paid much of a mind to running away, since she was promised permission to leave the kingdom when she 'came of age', but she wanted to give her dad some comfort by keeping close to him whenever he asked.
Being a heir to her throne, Melko was taught the manners of a royal in Cheops's free time. So far, she's learned more than most other makos about cooking, table manners, writing, peace, war, and reading. Along with that, Melko loves to sneak into the royal library when nobody's there and read about her family's history. She thinks the story about how her fathers met was very cute and romantic, and wants to someday have a guard herself and see what it's like to get your life saved. Of course, Tius said there was no way she would get into that sort of danger, but she still liked to dream that someday she would find a true love of her own.
Cheops got to teach her how to be a royal, so Tius taught her self defence. Cheops had at first offered to teach her fencing, another common royal skill, but Tius stepped in and said he'd teach her all that she needed to know if danger showed up and she had nobody to guard her. The chance that that would happen was very slim, due to royalty being guarded at all times (which Melko isn't too much of a fan of), but he wanted her to be prepared anyways. Tius and Melko train practically every day- except weekends, which is when she gets a free day- so she can become just as strong as her dad. Cheops didn't get too much training, but he did have power by rank, so Tius cut down on trying to train him. They loved each other so much that Tius couldn't be disappointed, but he would pretend. That's another thing that mesmerised Melko about her dads- their inseparable love.
