Loki grows very attached to every place he stays, however in one case, he felt nothing. It was a while ago, Loki was being sold to Rusted Pine, he didn't like his family much, he was getting in a lot of fights, and his old owners decided it was for the best to keep him away from the horses he was picking fights with. Loki left with his head high, he never looked back.
however for most places, Loki will strugle and buck, he will not want to leave the place, he will try to go back for "one more look" and hide.

I glance up at my father, who has just entered the pasture after his job of plowing the fields. He looks weary, sweating and breathing heavily, but his eyes light up when he sees me and mother. "Oh, Glory, you'll never believe it! The master is selling you!" he says, a smile curving up his dark muzzle. I back up one step, shock filling my purple eyes, my heart stopping for just one second. "Bu-but father! What will I do without you and mother? How is this good? I'm leaving my home, and you, and all my friends! Father, I'm scared," I whimper, my breath catching in my chest, tears filling up and clouding my eyes. "Glory, you'll be somewhere else with new friends, and a better job. Your new master says you're going to be a show horse! My daughter, a show horse!" he exclaims proudly, smiling and nuzzling me. "But I want to stay with you! I don't want to be a show horse!" I say, suddenly angry. My own father is happy about me going away forever! "Glory, it's all going to be fine. Your two brothers before you were sold, and they were like you, scared and unwilling. But you will have a better life with your new master, one of enjoyment and competition, of love and wonder. This opportunity only comes once in a young horse's life, and now is your time. You must be brave, my dear, but you will be rewarded for your bravery with affection and respect," mother murmurs, turning to me and nipping my ear. I sigh, my head hung low, my tail swishing. "Alright. I'll try to be brave."

Nyx is very excited for her new home. But she also does not want to leave the place she has called home for so long. She has so many happy memories there. She will miss her friends but can't wait to make new ones. She is frightened at what she will find at her new home, yet also curious as to what is there.

Since he was always bullied by the others, he is even more happy to go to a new place to call home. He's sure that even if the move is hard, he'll work through it and meet lots of new, friendly people and have lots of exciting experiences!
