Stella keepers, also called stellas or SKs, are fluffy wolf-like creatures whose sole purpose is to protect special stars throughout the universe. Although they primarily live in space, they can be seen on earth or other planets, especially since some planets are common stella meeting grounds. A stella keeper's diet usually consists of "comet cookies", a special term for stardust, but they can eat almost anything if they're hungry enough and some even prefer other foods. Stella keepers are not born with the stars that give them their name. As they grow up, they must find these stars themselves and when they do they are finally considered adults. A stella's life mission is to protect their stars. They must find a type of magical dust that, when sprinkled on a star, will make it healthier. These stars are very fragile and can be destroyed very easily. Even if a star is destroyed, the stella can replace it, but many SKs look down on this behavior.
