Venus Rising
Two packs rule the Echo Forest: the New Moon pack and the Full Moon pack. The two packs are in the middle of a fierce war, with blood being shed nearly every day. So when looking for a solution, all eyes turn to arranged marriage.
Venus is the spoiled princess of the Full Moon pack- sad but true. She hates her rank, however, preferring to fight in battles, go exploring, or take risks. When she finds out she's been betrothed to Prince Jupiter of the New Moon pack, the fiery female is outraged. Jupiter is stuck-up and flirty, and she can't stand him. The only solution: escape.
A young rogue by the name of Anubis has been chased by both packs for years. Witty, cunning and murderous, he's not the ideal traveling companion. But when Venus is injured and rescued by him, she realizes he is her only hope for escaping the two packs. Both on the run, Venus soon finds herself attracted to Anubis. But does he return her love?
Characters:
Venus The main character of the story. A spoiled princess of the Full Moon pack. She is the daughter of the wise King and Queen, Lisha and Mars. She has a very firey personality and is quite rebellious. She has a short temper and tends to throw fits if she doesn't get what she wants. She hates being a princess and has always longed for an adventure. She has always been told what she can and cannot do but she wants to discover things for herself.
Lisha(LEE-shuh) - The Queen of the Full Moon pack. When she was young she was married to King Mars. She is the mother of Venus and Rina's sister, whom she despises. She is a very serious but caring wolf. She has a firey temper but has very good self control over it. She is loving towards her family and subjects. She has a very royal aura about her.
She is a medium sized wolf with light brown fur with darker points. She has a white paw and tail tip. Her eyes are a forest green.
Mars - The king of the Full Moon pack. He is married to Lisha and Venus is his daughter. He is very battle hardened as he was formerly a general. He is very tactical and was formerly a sly young wolf. Nowadays he is much calmer and thinks before he acts. He has a good sense of humor and is very sweet and kind. He can be quite protective of his family and cares for his subjects.
Mars is a large, muscular wolf. He has deep red fur that lightens around his chest and underbelly. His are light brown.
Jupiter - Prince of the New Moon pack. He is very stuck up and prideful. He thinks he is better than everyone else and hates to get his paws dirty. He is very flirty and is a major player. He is very smooth, suave, and sly. He is quite obnoxious at times and uses his power oppressively.
Jupiter is a very handsome wolf. He has blue-grey fur with black spotting all around. His eyes are an entrancing shade of yellow. He has a very swooshy tail.
