Donika is a diamond in the rough. All through out her childhood, everyone teased her and made her feel worthless. She was named Laura at birth. Her parents din't care about what happened to her, even hiding her identity as having a diamond gem. Laura was afraid to go anywhere. The forest, the ocean, the city! The reason she was afraid was because no matter where she went, the teasing and bullying would follow. This continued on until she was about 14. At that point, her aunt and uncle received custody of her. They brought her to a new land, with new people, and gave her a new name, Donika. As soon as she got there, she felt as though she belonged for once. Her aunt and uncle told her about her gem and treated her as if she was a living creature. Donika is 28 now and has lived with her aunt and uncle ever since. She has not been bullied since she was 14.
