The only one who can get close to the lonely stallion, Gale hadn't exactly chosen to have a friendship with
Train. Train was drawn to Gale, his curiosity almost becoming his downfall after Gale once angrily drove
him away. Train's ear still bears the scar from that encounter.
Finally, after pushing enough, Gale let Train spend time with him. At first, it was a strange friendship. It
consisted of Gale standing in silence at the edge of the paddock, like he normally was, and Train standing
beside him. The younger male would occasionally shoot the older stallion glances, but neither of
them spoke.
After a few weeks, Gale finally started to question Train's motives. Why was such a young stallion interested
about this gloomy, sullen horse? It turned out that Train wanted to know what had happened to cause Gale
to act this way.
Train was the first horse that Gale had ever opened up to. He ended up telling Train the entire story of his
mate's death. Though, he still left out the fact that it was Damon who was responsible. The two became
close, bonded by this tragedy.
