Such A Interesting Piece Of Artwork!
Thank you! And nah, it wasn't inspired by that, but good guess!

Awwww, thanks so much! <3
yikes wrote:wow this is very interesting to look at! Naturally your eyes want to meet with another set of eyes but you can't in this case. Very well done!
Oh hmm, I hadn't thought about the desire to see other eyes, although the eyes are part of the meaning. That's a very interesting view, and thank you!!!
Snow! wrote:I am the only one who thought of "The Stranger" by Billy Joel when first seeing this? x) More specifically, the lyrics: "Well we all have a face/That we hide away forever/And we take them out and show ourselves/When everyone has gone/Some are satin some are steel/Some are silk and some are leather/They're the faces of the stranger".
So I guess that's my interpretation, lol.
Anyways, Cae, this is fabulous! I'm on mobile, so I can't see the detail as much { plus it's quite sunny and there's a glare, ergg } { nvm -- the glare is gone and I can see this much better now! }, but from what I can see — its great! c: Even after knowing you for a year+, you still have not taught me your skills in depth, o' wise Sensei. ;D; You must teach me your ways.
If this doesn't get featured, then I do not know what will. Honestly, this might be one of my favorite pieces by you { besides all that fabulous gift art <3 }!

Yepppp, as I already told you, "The Stranger" is pretty close to the right meaning. =D Not exact, but very close.
But there are no skills to teach! I fail at putting things into words so I'd probably just confuse you. X3
Thank you so much! I tend to get features on the oddest things, though. I never expect it on the pieces that actually end up featured.

Also I would love to learn more about that shading style! ^>^
Thank you! I was afraid they might be too much, but it's good to know they came out okay!
And maybe someday I can post a little tutorial. It's actually very easy and fun, despite how it might look!
