Okai, so instead of tulipups I went with Daffodags. Daffodags are canine-like animals with a daffodil as a tail. The front half of their body is fluffy fur, and the back half and front legs are made of glass, which contains the stem of the daffodil. Daffodags rarely have anything but water in their glass parts, which ranges in color. Daffodags wear beads filled with water-like jelly inside of them, and if Daffodags are low on their water and they are in a dry place, they will eat these beads for temporary hydration. Their eyes are nearly always closed, but on rare occasions they are open. Daffodags also have two long leaves on their head, which provides them nourishment. Most of the Daffodag population is female, but once again a male daffodag is possible. When there is a male, the two Daffodags can breed together to make Daffodag pups, which will grow over time like a flower. Daffodags are the size of a house cat, yet they can be smaller. Maybe basic hatch marks on the farther ear and legs? or just darken them slightly?
