story;;Was once checking out her owner's art room and accidentally spilled multiple buckets of paint on herself. The owner wasn't very happy but thought that she looked unique so she didn't bother to wash it off.

story;; Calanthe used to live in a circus that travelled around the cities as part of the freak show. Calanthe was poorly treated there and unhappy. Once, the circus was hired to perform in front of a paint factory. When all the workers were outside, no one was checking on the giant vats of paint inside. The paint bubbled over and poured out of the factory. Everyone was hit by it and it permanently stained Calanthe. In the confusion and shock, Calanthe ran away from the circus and now has a much happier life. Calanthe has not seen the circus since.
