I wrote a little story to go with this art piece
I sat at the tip of the hill, the same hill me and my adopted sister, Hyacinithia, had found Samb city. I sighed, and laid down in the thick grass. All of a sudden, a voice broke the peaceful silence. "Hey Tablethead,"
S. A tall girl with razor sharp teeth, pink-purple eyes, plus dragon wings and tail. Her long, shimmering, purple hair flirted with the breeze as it dragged across her face. "What do you want?" Andy grumbled, sitting up. "I was just wondering why you come up here all the time." S replied as she sat down next to him.
"So, are you gonna answer my question?"
"Ugh. Fine.." I took a deep breath, and began to talk. "Remember that night where you ambushed Hyacinithia and I? That night when I came to Samb City? Well, this is where I first saw the city. There. Are you satisfied?"
S shuffled in the grass. "No, I'm not. I want to hear the entire story."
"The entire story?" I asked. "Yeah." S answered. "Where ya came from."
"I came from Earth. End. of. story."
"That last part makes you sound like you have asthma."
"You're not making this very enjoyable."
S flashed a toothy smirk at me. "I'll stop being a pain in the neck if you tell the entire story."
He groaned, and slammed his face into his hands. "Okay. So, I already told you about that laboratory, how me and Hyacinithia escaped, and came here." "Blah, blah, blah." S sung. "I didn't tell you the entire story. There was this girl.." S cut me off as she punched me in the arm. "So you're cheating on me?" She joked. "Urgh. You said you wouldn't a pain if I told the story." S made a noise that sounded like a groan blended with a sigh. "Fine. Continue.."
"Her name was Frost. She got tested on like I did, but she was merged with the DNA of a Snow Leopard. So basically, she's half human, and half snow leopard." I made a fake cough, and looked up into the milky orange sky. "She really hated me. Sorta like you."
S stifled a laugh. "Anyways, we became friends later on, also with Hyacinithia. We were sorta, you know, a family in soul." S gave a nod. "One day, Frost got an idea. To escape from the lab, and then be free from the burdens of the terrible place."
"Okay, I got ta say something here. You know that jagged piece of rose quartz on Akua's collar?" "Your pet cat? Yeah, I know about it." S smiled. "Okay, good. Now on with the story. While the three of us were escaping, we got caught by guards. Frost said she would distract them, so Hya and I could escape. That's when I split the rose in half. I gave the other half to Frost, making a promise that I would come back for her. Hya and I escaped, and Frost got left behind. But once I got to this city, and I passed through the barrier, I found I could never come back to Frost." I sighed, and laid down again.
S was still sitting, staring up at the sky. "Wow." She murmured. "That's so disappointing to hear." I nodded. "Do you want to hear my personal theory?" I asked her. S nodded. "I think Akua was sent by Frost. The lab workers wouldn't have noticed a cat like that escaping."
"Uh huh." S said in a flat voice. Suddenly, S grabbed my hand, and gave it a small kiss. "Sorry I always made fun of you." She apologized. She was blushing heavily. "I-I.. I.." I couldn't even talk. S snickered, and laid down next to me in the tall grass.
