we went into town today to do some shopping for a kayak for my brother, and i ended up buying a red fox plushie and a joke book but that's irrelevant
and now i can't get it out of my head that the fox kinda looks like nero
this could be a problem

and yes that is more or less what it looks like
though i'm half convinced the bridge of the muzzle is a bit lighter and the tail is a bit redder but you get the idea

welp since the plushie now has it's own online reference and tbh i quite like it, it's probably going to end up as another character.
will definitely be friends with this guy, possibly significant other/love interest as well.

yeah, looking at the lineart again, it kind of seems more fox-like than wolfish
of course the bushy/fox tail only makes the resemblance stronger X3
