Winter And Summer Types Available
- The Classic Type
The Classic Type are more true to their original routes in how they are slightly more scruffy, their manes often being allowed to grow out long. They are proud working horses who can withstand temperatures where most other things would fail to survive. The Classic Type run wild in the mountains, although against this fact most are said to have an approachable nature. The Yakut are still full pack horses who enjoy each others company, defending who they count as their herd with everything they have within them. With big hearts and small needs, it makes them the ideal pony for anyone in need of a suitable work pony.

- The Modern Type
The Modern type was developed for counties which preferred the sporting ponies more than working ones, also able to handle more extreme heats. They do not cope with the cold quite as well as their counterpart. The Modern Type has received a reputation for their constant need for companionship, often leaving people to let them remain around sheep, cows, dogs or even cats for company. The Yakut can have a wide range of personalities from being energetic and spunky to lazy and grumpy, everyone of them is unique.
