Story::When Ambrose was a small little opal dragon, the town that he lived in was hit by a big, dangerous flood. The weather people somehow predicted the flood. They told the people of the town to evacuate and go to a relatives house or move to a different town.Everyone abandoned the town, heading to the north, all except for Ambrose and two other animals. His family was panicking, and they were always in a rush. The family lived in a big house made of brick. The family was such in a rush that they forgot about three of the animals, including Ambrose. A few days after most of the town left, the flood hit. It was much worse and terrifying then everyone thought it would be. It wiped away the people and animals that stayed there, all except for Ambrose. After that,he was to survive the days of being alone and scared, looking for food and clean water. He somehow did the impossible, and left the town without being dead. A few months after this,he was in a tiny village, where the people raised sheep and goats. Ambrose stayed here, usually sleeping in the day under some bushes, snatching a sick sheep or a young goat at nighttime, where literally no one's outside. He gained strength here, from eating so much meat. One night, when he woke up to someone talking to something. He crawled out of the bush, preparing to attack. It was the farmer who took care of the sheep and goats. He couldn't see what it was,so he crawled closer to the human, making sure he wasn't noticed. It was a dog bigger than Ambrose. It's mouth was foaming, and it's eyes were bloodshot, and clouded with madness. Why isn't that crazy dog attacking the farmer? He heard the human talk to the crazy dog.
"Find that creature, and make sure to bring it back,"The farmer paused."Bring it back dead. I don't want that thing near my animals ever again."And with that, the dog ran, sniffing the ground where Ambrose stood the night before, when he killed a young goat. He had to get out of there,or else this could be the last night of his life. He scrambled out of the bush, catching the dog's attention. He ran out to the forest in front of him, trying to plan how to make this dog disappear. He had an idea, but it wasn't a very peaceful way of making the dog disappear. He was through the forest now,in fields of wheat. He heard barking and snarls behind him. Crazy dog wasn't too far behind his tail,so that's when he started the plan. He did a U-Turn,surprising the dog,and head butted the dog in its head, making his antlers break. Crazy dog yelped, bits of his antlers in its head. While it was distracted,Ambrose ran to the side of the dog, then bite it's neck, sending poison into its veins. The dog fell to the ground, twitching and whimpering. Ambrose just realized what he had to do after this. He forgot that poisoning things kill them, and a wave of guilt flooded over him. The dog looked at Ambrose, who looked back at it. He had to put the dog down,by biting the dog in the head.
---
After doing this,he dragged the dog's corpse to a ditch, and pushed it in,hanging his head down, and he heard a crack from above, knowing that something in him just broke, and it was his orb. He didn't want to be this monster. He doesn't want to kill anything anymore, either. He couldn't have eaten the dog,he would've felt even worse after that. He heard a mew from behind him. Ambrose turned to see a black kitten, sitting there. He picked the kitten up with his tail, walking towards the farm that the dog came from. He walked over to the door of the farm, and sat the kitten down. It was about midnight, and he knew the farmer would probably enjoy a cat for rodents. Ambrose knocked on the door with his tail, since he's seen other humans do this kind of stuff. They usually answer when the humans knock on the doors. He heard a grunt from inside and knew that it would be the farmer. He pat the kitten on the head with his paw and ran away. He knew that he did both a good thing and an absolutely terrible thing that night, and he's still guilty to this day.
hey y’all
