Procyonidae Erectus
Coontails are a strange cousin to raccoons and marsupials that walk along on both four legs and two legs. Their tails all have four segments that are commonly bi-colored. Mutations in the tails can vary quite rarely. Each one can speak in varied chirps, churs, and clicks. Their tails speak a lot of how they feel, but they use the tail to balance high up as well. When trying to obtain a Coontail, keep in mind they like to collect or hold something very precious.

Where did they get the thread?
Purlescence got her golden thread from her sick mother when she was a bit younger than her present age. In case her mother did not recover, it was given to Purlescene to remind her of her, and to let her know that she would always be with her in spirit. According to her mother, the thread was given to her by her mother long ago, and it went through a cycle of being passed down from mother to daughter. In some respect, it could be called a family heirloom.
Personality
You could easily call Purlescence snooty and pompous. She's a very prideful Coontail, who was taught to live as if she were "high-class", which in some respect, she is. Due to her running her own thread shop, she's made herself very known around where she lives. Also, she makes her own thread, so she can sell it for more than usual, which brings in a lot of bargained goods that make her seem rich. According to her diary, she will not sleep on anything but a velvet, royal purple pillow.
