Welcome to my adoptables! c:

This is where I will be coloring in this wonderful sheet
made by Horsy1050 and placing them up for adoption.
I figured that making these available to everyone would
give me a chance to practice online art. Yay!

There will be both Arabians and Thoroughbreds up for adoption here, and I will try to have a new design up for each every other day. To adopt one, simply fill out the form. Sometimes they will be FCFS and other times they will be naming or picture competitions. They can be bred to one another, and crossbred between breeds (Arabs can breed with Thoroughbreds). Each horse has 6 breeding slots, and only two may be used per horse per month. More on breeding later.

Please note that these designs will focus on realistic horse coats and markings.
It is not my intention to copy other user's designs.
If need be, I will place a link to the pictures of real horses I use as a reference on the adoption page.

Breeding

There will be two types of breedings here:

• natural
• stem cell

Natural breedings occur between a stallion and a mare that are over the age of two years. These breedings will rely on the genetics of the two parents and will take up one breeding slot for each parent.

Stem cell breedings allow two horses of the same gender to reproduce. This is also the only type of breeding geldings would be able to partake in since this method takes DNA from other cells and uses that to create a foal.
** Note that while other horses have 6 breeding slots in their lifetime, geldings only have 2 and can only reproduce through stem cell breedings **

*Twins*
In each breeding, there will be a chance of having twins. If a horse has twins, it will only use one breeding space for each parent as it would only have been one pregnancy. There is a 10% chance of a horse having twins and only 50% of those who roll positive for twins will be identical. If a horse that is bred is a twin, their odds of having twins themselves is increased to a 20% chance. Every breeding will be rolled for twins except for geldings. Geldings are the only gender that can not produce twins.

* Foals *
Foals will have "adult" lines from birth and will be born at one year of age. They will be aged one week after they are born and will be available for breeding at that time.
