Delta Velorum Foxes are tall looking foxes that are only located on the remote planet of Delta Velorum.
Standing between 2 - 2 1/2 feet at the should, Delta Velorum Foxes are very tall in appearance compared to Red Foxes on Earth. They tend to be long legged in appearance and are well known for their endurance and agility. Males tend to be more muscular then females while female are more slender and elegant in appearance. A Delta Foxes fur tends to be very soft and short, and come in a wide variety of natural colors. It is not uncommon to see them in roans and dun colors similar to horses and are commonly seen in cat colors and patterns as well (such as calico, tabby, bengal markings ect). However the combination of colors and patterns are limitless, and each Delta Velorum Fox is different from the next. No two are ever the same in looks. Delta Velorum Foxes can come in any eye color and combination - no matter if it's natural or unnatural. A fox with two or more eye colors (known as Heterochromia) is uncommon but not unheard of.
Variety: Medium Tail, Eye Dots / Custom facial markings.

Hello! I am balto, a current artist for this species and a owner of a few dvf's of my own - Simba, Serenity, U'ilani and an unmade RU from 146. While I am not too active it seems on the fanclub (due to my computer), I love all my dvf's, and I would love to add this guy to my small family. As soon as I saw he was dog based, I just knew I had to try, as I have had a name and character concept in mind for a dog based dvf for a while, and he fits the slot perfectly. So, without further ado, lets move onto the form!
THE BASICS
This lad here is Hunter - not a very original name, I know. I just thought that since he is a dog based dvf, why not give him a fitting name? There are dogs that are used for all sorts of different huntings in the real world, and in their own world these foxes hunt for their food - so Hunter was easily chosen. Simple, but effective. And of course, he is a todd, nothing more fitting to a dvf such as this.
DIGGING DEEPER
Hunter is...well, not as bad as his name may make him sound. Most may think that due to his name, he is mean and is not afraid to get into a fight, but he is the opposite of that, really. He is a goofy, fun-loving and loyal fox. He is almost like what he is - a dog is too brave and loyal, and Hunter takes that place. He cares for friends and others a lot, and hates to see anyone get hurt. He will quickly jump to someones defense, even if he doesn't know them which sometimes leads to his defeat. Not that he cares - as long as the other fox is safe and unharmed, his goal is complete. Besides this, it is often he will try to calm fights with words before tooth and claw, as he believes violence is not the answer to everything. He will always think before doing to avoid hurting anyone or their feelings, and will generally make sure that everyone else is alright before checking himself after something has happened. He is a thoughtful thinker and a good listener, and he is always there if you wish to have someone to talk to - if it be need that you need to vent or just talk, he will always be there for anyone.
