Yes, it's a Wicked-inspired pic, but I didn't see the show, I read the book. Which really freaked me out :what: . But everyone keeps telling me the show is awesome (because musicals generally are :3). Anyway, this just popped in my head, and I wanted to experment with fire ("Remember kids, don't try that at home - I'm a professional!" coudln't resist)

WIP - I know this doesn't belong in intermidiate right now, but I posted it so I could get crit to make it intermidiate-worthy :3

Edit: OK, so enough people replied that I figured I actually had to improve my crappy art  to be honest, I'd kind of forgotten about this. So here's the pretty much finished product, I decided her face wasn't really supposed to be showing/have any detail because I'm lazy and bad at it

OMG yes some Wicked art!!! I think this is perfectly intermediate. I haven't read the book yet, only seen the play. At my age, I'm pretty sure the book would be REALLY heavy.

Yeah...the book is just kind of...out there. Didn't understand some of it, but for some reason that makes me want to see the play more now :/

And thank you :D

WICKED ART IS WICKED!

*coughs* But yes, this is awesome, I recommend the book to any who haven't read it. Just because it came first and it clears a lot up, though I agree, some of the political things in it were confusing. x_X
Still gotta love green ladies! <3

Oh and the only crit I could give it trying to actually give her a facial build... if you're going for an anime look then you don't have to worry about it, they never focus on facial structure. >_< Just a thought though. :3

I think it's simply beautiful ;) (and yes, the musical is simply fan-tas-magical)

The musical was great, but it has left the Orpheum in SF. I'm pretty sure my parent wouldn't let me touch the book till I'm at least 13 or 14. LOL
