Yep, it's been 1 year since I drew the original Autumn Forest! I wanted to post this at 9:00 am this morning because that's the time I posted the original but I thought today was only the 16th and hadn't quite finished... Oops!

Anyway, I think this gives a pretty good idea of how much I've improved and I'm really happy with this outcome! <3
Th original is one of my favorite drawings from 2014 and it manages to remain something I was proud of for almost a full 8 months. That's pretty impressive, considering that every other piece has lost its allure after only a few weeks, if that. It was drawn with a mouse (my last piece to have been drawn with one) and this was drawn with a Wacom Bamboo Fun graphics tablet. I've been meaning to buy an Intuos so wouldn't it be ironic if this were my last piece using a Bamboo tablet? Unfortunately that won't be the case, though I'm almost tempted to buy one and just not do any graphics art until it arrives. XD




If any of you want to provide critique on this then I'm all ears! :3

I can't wait to see where next year takes me!

This is truly beautiful! I love how much the style have changed.
Both drawings are great, old and new, but I love how the second one simply radiates with joy, making you have just as big of as smile as the canine! And the light seems to cast such a nice shadow too. Keep up the gorgeous work <3

Thus I prefer the trees in the first autumn forest, because it looks more like ahe is in the forest than the second version. But the second one like nintendo Ghost said it, Radiates joy.

It love getting both kinds of feedback. :3 That's true though; I'm much lazier with my art now (yep, I'll admit it) and so adding more trees wasn't on the top of my list... But thank you! I really do appreciate having people point out my shortcomings.
