Does anyone remember that old Animal Crossing myth that if you shot down the UFO enough times, you could go to the moon? And on the moon, there was a tree with moonfruit (that was conveniently extremely valuable) on it? I believed it was real for years before I discovered that it was just a hoax xD

but anyways. I know this is a moon and not a planet, buuuut I thought that this challenge would be the perfect opportunity to draw the moon tree x3

The moon isn't technically a planet. Since the definition of a planet is something that orbits a star, and the moon orbits the earth.

... though now that I'm doing research, I'm not even sure. By common definition though, the moon isn't a planet? But it doesn't orbit around the earth? -flops over- the things I learned in second grade apparently aren't true. 8I So maybe you're right. Me too, that's what I always learned. but I'm reading some places that the moon actually orbits the sun, but is just pulled towards the Earth? But apparently NASA doesn't want to acknowledge it because then the books would need to be changed? Man, who even knows. It's weird stuff when the professionals can't agree. And also I'm not entirely sure how credible the site I was on was, I'd need to do more research. Which I'm not sure I actually care enough to do. ANYWAYS, Oekaki isn't a discussion board so I'll stop talking about this xD
