Wave Rider stood from her place on a cliff, a long drop into the water below her. She looked down, a confident expression on her face, and an ambitious light in her eyes. She ran back away from the edge a couple feet, before turning back to it. She had to time her jump perfectly in order for the stunt to be achieved. Closing her eyes briefly, she listened to the water, waiting for a suitable wave to form in the correct direction. After a few moments, it happened. Her eyes shot open and she raced forward. With one perfect, graceful leap, she was over the edge of the cliff, soaring downwards towards the wave-filled water below. Just as her paws hit the center of the wave, she quickly forced her hind legs down. Using her tail, she propelled herself forward, up into the air, following the wave's slanted shape. She let out a joyous cry, happy that her stunt had been a success. Quickly, she flipped herself forward in a front flip-like maneuver, before sliding gracefully underneath the water's surface. Her head popped up a few moments later, a smile plastered on her face in the wake of her achievement. ((I hope this is considered short @-@))

As you may have guessed, Wave Rider is exactly as her name says; a wave rider. What is wave riding you ask? Well, I would consider it a mix of cliff diving and a sharkeeta version of surfing. The idea of wave riding is inspired by cliff diving, surfing, and the tricks that dolphins do at aquariums. Seeing as Wave Rider has dolphin-like attributes, it makes her the perfect sharkeeta for the sport. Other than her avid love of wave riding, she loves collecting shells; sometimes, after an unsuccessful wave riding attempt, she'll use the dive to bring her closer to any places shells might be hiding, such as coral reefs. Don't worry, she doesn't dive directly into the reef, so she'll be fine.
