This is an old wound, but a while ago I saved a baby hummingbird my friend's cat had maimed. The poor little thing died less than 24 hours later. I was really attached to the little guy and even now, over half a year later, I sometimes cry over him. Precious few of you will understand why it hurt so much to loose him. It simply did.

I don't really want to talk about it. Please refrain from posting sympathy comments. I'd rather hear what you have to say about the art! =)

I used this image as reference for the sketch but I didn't use it heavily.
