Every few minutes, it's lights brighten up and the Lightstone inside emits a condensed pulse of energy through the top and bottom of the machine. The machine around it condenses the power of the laser, strengthening its power.
Eventually, it will have charged up enough to allow it to take off, and it will eject from Earth out into orbit where it will continue its job from space above.
