♔
Animamanusuma, or AMA, are canine-like creatures
with wispy tails. Their name literally translates into
soul stealer, named after their habit of stealing
parts of the soul as their main food source. An older
name, Tiaopiseishin, translates into mischievous
spirit, also named for their mischievous habits of
entertaining themselves by scaring people. Many people
think that AMA caused the myth of the ghost.
• Appearance •
♔
AMA have long, transparent tails made of a wispy, soft,
mist-like substance. They have excellent hearing and vision,
but poor smell, therefore having to rely only on vision and
hearing to detect prey. They have large ears and eyes,
and are lacking hind legs. They 'fly' using
energy fields emitted from theirs ears and tail, which can
disrupt radio waves and power plants. They have the ability
to manipulate the mind, and make the victim think that the
AMA has changed shape. They're about the size of a corgi to
a border collie.
• Environment •
♔
AMA can survive and adapt in many surroundings. They can survive up to
250 degrees Fahrenheit to -100 degrees Fahrenheit. They mainly live in
mainland Africa and central Antarctica, but may rarely be found in
tropical islands such as the Caribbean and Hawaii, and colder places
such as Alaska and Canada.
• Diet •
♔
AMA mainly feed on spirits, but can eat living animals. AMA have strict
diets when it comes to land prey, and only eat cattle, deer,
and fish In the case of predators, AMA have every little, if any.
They may be preyed on by large cats, bears, and larger canines.
