Legend has it there was once a great king who fell in love with a beautiful mistress, but their love was not meant to be, for she was a liar and a thief, a witch of strange abilities, who only wanted to use him for power. Yet in the process she, too, fell in love, but it was too late, for he became aware of her schemes and had her locked away in a magical dungeon, despite her promises to change. That same year the kingdom went to war with the Evils of the Land, and the castle fell to ruin beneath invasion. The king and his people were forced to flee for their lives and in their hurry abandoned the mistress in the dungeon. The king, thinking her dead by his fault, was driven to misery and fled his people for the distant lands of darkness, unknowing that she still lives in her prison world. And from there, lost in fury and madness, trapped forever, she will never forgive the world; and from there she will rain fire from the skies, fire which will raze the hills to dust and burn the cities to ashes until she is found.
