Lil concept art of a species. Still working on some stuff. uvu

If anyone has any ideas shoot them at me. d:

Their tail is partly transparent like that of a tadpole, with the inner part being solid. They also have webbed paws.
They lay around 20 eggs but only a few survive/are fertile. These eggs are guarded in a small discrete pool by both parents, until they hatch into small already developed Mud Puppies.
