I Won't go into her full history, but MJ is essentially dying, though her body might live on forever. Her soul and mind, burdened by the weight of her curse and things she's done, are shutting down. She is half-catatonic, responding to external stimuli but not doin anything if not prompted. She does not eat or sleep unless forced, and can be hard to connect with. Though it too is fading, MJ's personality is cold and dethatched, but able to pretend she's a happy-go-lucky guy. [In my world,] MJ can only die if burned. Par of the curse that stained her wings black also prevent her from allowing harm to come to herself, no matter how much she wants it to. She'd honestly like to stop living, as living is such a wasted existence in her opinion.
She has a Match and a Torch that respond to her moods, and isn't afraid to use them.
There is a 1 tattooed on the back of her left hand, and a symbol on the front with exactly 29 (x2)lines surrounding it. She can tell you what each one means, as each is a life she took. The symbol in the middle is another reminder, and the 1 her involvement in this crime. There are 13 numbers.
