What is a TML? wrote:Terrarium Mushroom Lizards are small, gecko-sized reptiles that have two mushroom-like growths. They eat like a normal lizard, but they reproduce by cross-pollination from their spores.
TMLs are usually housepets, because they prefer to live in small cages fit only for themselves and wiggle room. They spend their day sleeping and warming up. Each TML will find, build or in the case of domestic TMLs, be given a home. They will fill it with trinkets, dirt and anything they find interesting or shiny. They can carry dirt on their tail 'mushroom' which opens and closes like an umbrella, which can be pollinated by the mushroom on their head which can carry multiple seeds as well as their own spores.
They come in a variety of colors and often have a natural color on their scales with bright and rarely neon markings, while the mushrooms usually have bright colors that often resemble patterns of actual mushrooms.
They have slightly articulated fingers and sticky toepads, allowing them to place and remove some sort of cork on their home. They will lie in ambush, having a sense of touch and hearing enough to feel the vibrations in the ground to an extent.
