Distortion hung his head as the memory snaps back into his mind, though it did not surprise him... It hadn't been that long since Angsty was taken from him... Distortion felt the tears stream down his face and didn’t try to hide them. Sitting on a low wet wall he took out Angsty’s necklace and murmured, "Why did they kill him? I dont under-STAND!" he cried, and bashed his fist off of the cold stone. "Why?" he whimpered quietly, shivering at the icy coldness of the rain as it beat down upon him, forgetting that weather affected him like it would with a mortal. All he know is that he wanted his deceased brother back... If he just could have been just a bit quicker.... Maybe he could have helped him, or better yet, saved him...
It had stopped raining a day ago, but on earth Distortion forgot to hide his appearance and the earth elementals who had killed Angsty had begun to pursue him. He changed into his 'mortal' wolf form to outrun them, but that did not give Distortion enough speed to outrun the elementals, throwing rocks in his direction in hopes to hit and slow Distortion down, but Distortion did not plan on it. 'Especially not after what they did to Angsty. What I wouldn’t give for entity to show up to help me fight them off, I could really use some help, but I doubt he'd even know what trouble I’m in, so my only hope of survival so far is to run. If I tried to hop into another plain, they would follow me, and my powers are draining fast so I need a place to hide.' thought Distortion, the thought of entity coming back. 'Maybe if I hope hard enough he’ll come, I really need him, no, anyone to come. I can't fight these guys on my own, and I certainly won’t give them me or Angsty's charms, or something catastrophic would be brought onto the planet earth, and I don't want to be the one to blame for all the deaths that would occur.' Distortion debated, the earth elementals gaining on him. * Distortion continued to run, the earth elementals nearly catching up with him. He tripped and fell, and the elementals towered over his crumpled form.
They fell back, eyes glazed. They didn't appear to be dead but were very unconscious. A tall, thin man stepped from the corner of Distortion's eyes. He tipped his hat to Distortion in grand style. "Hats off to you, I had to come save yer tail!" he laughed. Grabbing his paw, he pulled distortion to his feet and knelt to see eye-to-eye with his wolf form. "Don't think I'll save your sorry arse every time, Distortion." Entity said, smiling, quite self-satisfied. * He blinked at entity, too speechless to say anything to him. Distortion's mind was muddled trying to comprehend what had just happened 'He really came to help me.' I thought to myself "I-I guess I owe you, hat snake" Distortion finally managed to murmur, giving a smile, even though it wasn't genuine. He was at the very least glad he was here. * Entity laughed as Distortion morphed into his human form. "So those elementals are the ones who killed Angsty?" Entity asked and Distortion nodded. Entity smiled wickedly. "Side note, does Angsty's charm happen to have any power?"
