Hello! Welcome to Mudskipper adopts!
What are Mudskippers? wrote:Mudskippers are axolotl-like creatures about the size of a large great dane dog. Males have frills on the side of their head, females having smaller frills. They have webbed claws for swimming, and sharp teeth to catch fish and frogs. They have long, wide, thick tails for swimming. They also use their tails to slap water or mud into enemies faces to confuse them.
Where do they live? wrote:Mudskippers live around swamps, muddy marsh lands, lakes, and rarely, rivers. They live pretty much anywhere that is warm in the world.
What do they eat? wrote:Mudskippers are omnivores; their diets include berries, frogs, fish, and different plants.
Mudskipper markings and colors wrote:Mudskippers have a variety of colors.
Their most common colors are pinkish shades, tan and brown shades, and grey and black shades. Their more uncommon colors include light blue-ish colors, light silver, apricot-orange-ish colors, and white. Their rarest colors are roans, cremello, and albino! Chimera Mudskippers also exist, but are incredibly rare.
Mudskippers also have a variety of horse-like markings.
Their most common markings include face markings like stars, stripes, snips, and bald-faces. Other common markings include paint markings (tovero, tobiano, overo), and feet markings. Their uncommon markings are appaloosa (blanket, leopard) and a Mudskipper exclusive: Tye-dye. This marking is a solid color, with patches of at least two other colors. The patches are gradient-like, and blend in a bit as if the Mudskipper was airbrushed.. Their rarest markings include dapples and stripes.
