View topic - Mountains Amidst Sand

Okay...so....I was like let's save this because I was gonna ask what you people wanted me to do with the other half then I was like wait I can do that lake that's still in my layers then I went back....and it deleted my layers....and I don't really want to do that again...so..um..suggest what you think the bottom half should be

Edit: Oops forgot to add that this was the ref I used

Edit: Please ignore the bottom half of this for a while...I can't finish it right now but I have to save it so yeah...

I would have suggested a creek, but a lake does sound better. The top half is already stunning , the sky and mountains so nicely blended and shaded.

Thanks lol ^-^ It's the best I've ever done....no!!!! Don't look at my gallery xDD But anywhoo a river actually sounds nice....the lake kinda went :thumbdown:

because I didn't replicate the mountains upside-down very well...

Keep up the awesome work.
Is that rainbow-colored thing at the bottom what's left of the lake? If so, maybe you could use that as a creek or river off to the side, then make the rest of it a field or something.
This is amazing and beautiful, especially for one of your beginning attempts.

Eh......that was the river reflecting the sky..yeah...I fail.........I can't do it >_<

Shmeh, I failed on the river, but I guess it's done now ^^ unless I want to change it in the future....

Cool! It reminds me of Yellowstone's Lamar Valley at sunset, when we're looking over at the Lamar River. I think I've showed you pics before.
