Near Miss can often come across as being a little shy and not wanting to really talk to anyone because of the bullying he received as a pup. But when you give Near Miss some-thing that he excels at, the little Legion Wolf will suddenly awaken into a much more confident and courageous character.
He is strong minded and doesn't like to loose or be made a fool of. He can be quiet the soul looser and will make up any excuse under the sun to make out that he is the true winner. But other than when he is being a poor looser, Near Miss is a loyal and honest Legion Wolf that will obey any order he is given.
To him friends and family are the most important. He would do anything to ensure they are safe and well, even if he never tells them he loves them, he still cares a lot about them. He's not the bravest but he won't stand by and allow any harm to come to those he cares the most about.

Poor Near Miss, since he was born Near Miss lived up to his name, he could never seem to get anything right. From a cub he was always falling over or missing the ball in a game of fetch with his friends. Growing up, Near Miss was often called names and bullied by other cubs and even adults. His farther nicknamed him 'Useless' because he never seemed to be able to get anything right.
At a young age, Near Miss was sent to learn to be a swordsman. It had always been a goal of his to be a swordsman, ever since the day he first saw them, Near picked up a stick and tried to imitate them. But as always, Near Miss was as useless as ever and earned another nickname 'All Miss'. Near Miss was finally kicked out of training when he was injured in a training exercise after he broke his back right leg, which although healed, still gives him a slight limp.
After his leg was healed, his farther took him to work to learn the trade of being a black smith. But once again failure was all he could archive as bent swords with smooth edges were all that the young wolf could ever archive. Near Miss was sent away and his family looked down on him as being completely useless and never able to live up to anything. Poor Near Miss felt like all talent had abandoned him.
But one day while he was out searching for herbs for the healers, Near Miss was almost shot in the back of the head by an arrow. When he looked around it appeared that he had walked straight out in-front of the archers training exercise. Curious and inquisitive, Near Miss was given an opportunity to try some-thing brand new which he had never had thought he would try before.
Balancing on his hind legs with the bow held in one paw, he carefully pulled back the string and focused the arrow on the small round target on the tree. Near Miss took a breather before he released the tension in the bow. The arrow shot through the trees and pierced straight into the bark of the tree. 'A Near Miss!' It wasn't a hit but it proved that he had talent and the archers were eager to give Near Miss training lessons to perfect his skills.
For once in his life, Near Miss no-longer lived up to his name, Near Miss finally hit his target.
